Gajmer worked under R.D. Burman in Mumbai playing modal in several Hindi films song. In 1982 Ranjit arranged for Asha Bhosle to sing her first Nepali film song with him.

Padma Shri Anuradha Koirala

She is a Mother figure for many who motivates them to do better. She often reiterates, "Do not beg, do something; you have the capabilities."

VRC Colonel Lalit Rai

The valiant son of Mother India, Col Lalit Rai, is one of the highly decorated officers of the Indian Army. Due to his ‘never say die’ attitude,he was handpicked by the Army to form and lead the first ‘Dangerous & High Risk Mission’ team, which is genesis of today’s elite National Security Guards (NSG). In June 1999, Col Lalit Rai, took over the command of the elite GORKHA RIFLES in the Kargil War.

During this operation Rai was injured in the knee. Despite his injury, he exhorted and encouraged his troops to fight courageously till the target get achieved. Because of exceptional performance by the battalion under his command the 11 Gorkha rifles won ‘BRAVEST OF THE BRAVE’ title, he was awarded with Vir Chakra

He is now a businessman, a motivational speaker and above all an inspiration for many.

Ms Indira Ranamagar

Born in extreme poverty in rural Nepal, she was unable to attend education in the early stages of life. Still, became a phenonenal scholar when she got a chance to attend school.Her humane initiativs for the welfare of prisoners and their families have changes many precious lives.

Indira Ranamagar founded the Non-Profit Organization "Prisoner's Assistance Nepal" in 2000, which hs done commendable job of nurturing prisoner's children and enabling them to live a respectful life in the mainstream.

On October 22, 2014, she was conferred The World's Children's Honorary Award by Queen Sivia of Sweden. Also, she was one of the three finalist nominees for the 2014 World Children's Prize. In recognition of Indira Ranamagar's social inmactful work, BBC mentioned her among the 100 Inspirational and Innovative Women of 2017.

Padma Shri Kaajee Singh

This great phenomenal Percussionist has been presented with the title "Madal Maharaj" by the Indian Ministry of Information & Brodcasting.

Kaajee SIngh created 8 new ragas and talas and panned more than 5 books on the folk music of the Gorkhas to keep the youth connected with their roots.

Kaajee Singh has also contributed a lot to Bollywood, working with Music Directors like Lacmikant-Pyarelal, Kalyanji-Aanandji, Ram Laxman, & Shankar Jaikishan.

Recently, he was awarded Padma Shri for his tremendous work in the field of arts and culture. His strive for preserving and promoting Gorkha Folk culture is still going on at a fast pace.

Padma Shri Lil Bahadur Chhetri

Lil Bahadur Chhetri is a legendary Nepali author. He is a prolific writer, and his work is known for making a possitive impact on society.

His efforts in preserving the litrature in the Nepali Language, one of the oldest languages in the world, are immensely praiseworthy. His books have been taught at Tribhuvn University as part of curriculum.

Lil Bahadur Chhetri's beautifully written book, Brahmaputrako Chheu Chhau, is critically acclaimed worldwide and also won the Sahitya Academy Award.

In 2020, the Government of India, awarded him Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award in India, for his contribution to literature and education.

Shri Shyam Thapa

The legendary Indian footballer played as a striker for Indian National Football Team.
He helped India win Bronze Medal in Bangkok Asian Games and Merdeka Tournament in 1970.

Shyam Thapa became the national football sensation with the famous bicycle kick goal he scored against traditional rival East Bengal in August 1978.

He is the first Indian coach to a foregin national tream.

The current Chairman of the All Indian Football Fedration Technical Committee, Shyam Thapa, is conferred the Mohan Bagan Ratna in 2022.

Padma Shri Kedar Nath Gurung

Kedar Nath Gurung is a great educationist, prolific writer, and influential poet of Nepali Literature.

Ashrot Shrotharuka Pratishrotharu, Mahashakti Haruko Pooja, and Kathya Akathya Kathan Haruko Bhumikaran are the masterpieces of this iconic writer.

The Government of India honoured him with Padma Shri Award in 2022 for his extensive contribution to literature.

Kedar Nath Gurung is also the recipient of many other Awards, which includes:Bhanu Puruskar, Mahakabvi Laxmi Prasad, and Devkota Satabdi Puraskar.

Padma Shri Sanu Lama

An engineer by profession and writer by passion. Sanu Lama is one of the founders of the Bhartiya Nepali Rashtriya Parishad.

He is the first Nepali writer to receive the Padma Shri Award from the Government of India for his contributions to literature.
He is credited with writing many precious books, including Katha Sampad, Gaun Chadyo, Asinapo Manchery, Swasni Meanchey, and khani Tarma Ekdin.

He is a recipient of the Sahitya Academi Award and many other awards of high repute such as Sikkim Bhanu Puraskar, Dr. Shova Kanti Thegim Smrithi Puraskar and Madan Byakhanmala Puraskar.

Shri Raju Bista

Raju Bista is a young philanthropist, politician, and social worker, he has been tirelessly working for the welfare of the downtrodden and underprivileged. He is a dynamic young leader who promotes education and offers skill development opportunities in rural regions.

With Ten different records under his name in the field of painting, Shri Mukesh Thapa has set an example how pasion and persistence evolves into perfection.

So far, he is credited with more than 600 paintings in his name and he has established an art gallery at Shyam Nagar, Dharamshala.
He has created many National and International records and registered his name in Limca Book of Records, World Record Association China.

Everest World Record Nepal, India Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, and Creative World record Nepal, to name a few Mukesh Thapa has won many National and International awards, and his work is displayed in various art exhibitions.

He has served as a Memeber of Governing Body of NZCC (Government of India) in 2012.

Shri Tarapati Upadhyaya

Tarapati Upadhyaya, the man of missions, is an educationist, author, through leader, and social reformer.
He has written 22 books on the problems of the local populace from the perspective of nationalism in Nepali and Assamese languages.

Tarapati Upadhayaya played a pivital role in the establishment of schools and colleges in and around Udaguri, Assam. He founded the Teacher Training College at Udalguri in the year 1999 and served as its honorary Principal till 2014.

He immensely contributed to create mutual harmony between different communities residing in the region at a time when the region was facing problems with linguistic and ethinc strife.

Shri Vishnu Prasad Sharma

Vishnu Prasad Sharma is a self-made entrepreneur who met success after years of hard work and struggle.
Though born in an economically weak family, challenges and hardships couldn't resist him. Today he is a well-known businessman in Bhopal.

He started working as a helper and waiter in a small hotel in 1996, and then after 5 years of rigorous struggle, he started a Chinese food stall in2001.

His life practically defies the precailing perception that money mints money.
